A New Beginning in the Northwest

circle of hope in philadelphia

Excitement and expectation

Summer is almost over and the new school year is beginning. I am a teacher and I get excited about the new school year. It offers an opportunity to start again, to build on what has been done in the past, but in a fresh way, an opportunity to try out new ideas.

This fall means something new for Circle of Hope, too. We are starting a new congregation in Northwest Philadelphia. Sunday was the first meeting for our new congregation. After months of discernment and planning it was great to be together in our new place. The theme of the night was pregnancy and birth. We are anticipating the new life God will create in and through us.

New Community

I am excited for this new beginning. I look forward to seeing how God will move in and through us. We will see who will connect to God through us. This is a new way and place to share God’s love and to follow Jesus together. We are a community that is living out our faith together and inviting others to join us.

If you are looking for a place to connect to God and to others, this is great time to do it. As our kids start the new school year, you might want to try something new, too. Maybe you need a fresh start in your life, maybe you want to tap into God’s unconditional love, or maybe you want to explore what it means to follow Jesus in a new way. We would love for you to join us on Sundays at 5 pm at St Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 5720 Ridge Ave.
