Children and Teens among Circle of Hope
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
Children are a vital part of our community. We welcome them as Jesus did and understand that we can learn from them, even as we teach and train them in the way and mission of Jesus. We want them to know Jesus, to be part of the community, and to give what they are able to give. We believe that they will learn more by what we do than by what we say. The environment in Christ we create is a main teacher. We strive to create a rich environment of God’s loving presence through the practices of community, sharing God’s story, worship, prayer and service.
Sunday Meetings have spaces for children and teens
During the Sunday Meetings at 5pm, we provide childcare for babies and toddler (ages 6 months to 3-year-olds) and kid’s meetings for 3-year-olds through early elementary age. For specific information regarding children during the Sunday Meetings at each congregation contact:
1125 S. Broad St. – Ashley Holland at firstname.lastname@example.org
2007 Frankford Ave. – Lauren Stichter at email@example.com
3800 Marlton Pike – Jenny McGowan at firstname.lastname@example.org
2309 N. Broad St. – Tori Hayes at email@example.com

Children are always welcome to accompany their parents to the adult meeting. If they become disruptive their parents take them elsewhere. Children who are in fourth grade and older attend the meeting with everyone else. They are also welcome in cells as each cell decides if they can facilitate their special needs.
