Reconciliation
Team
Who we are
A team committed to Circle of Hope's
vision of a racially diverse church, as envisioned by Jesus and as
illustrated by Pentecost at the time of the early church. We want
the Circle of Hope network to be so much like the Kingdom to come
that all people flood through our doors to participate Jesus'
community. Pentecost again. Pentecost 2.0.
What we hope to do
To first and foremost, pray as a team and as members of the body
of Christ for the Circle of Hope network to diversify racially and
for racial reconciliation in general in the church. Second, to build
bridging relationships across the network of congregations and
neighborhoods through scheduled events, programs and social
activities. Third, to support the Hour of Reconciliation, held the
third Sunday of each month.
How you can help
- Participate in the Hour of Reconciliation.
- Help nurture the next generation of Circle of Hope in seeking
God's grace in an authentically reconciled church by supporting
our cross-congregational meeting, the "AMPM."
- Support events sponsored by the Reconciliation Team.
- Reach out to our neighbors in the various congregations.
- Pray without ceasing for the continued growth and development
of an authentic, organic and racially diverse church.
