Mission
Teams: Thrift Store
Who we are
 We are a group of people from Circle of Hope who seek to
open a thrift store in the city of Philadelphia in conjunction
with Mennonite Central Committee.
We plan to show God s love and grace
through our presence, creating not just a store but an extension of our
community.
What we hope to do
- Renovate the building we have purchased
in Fishtown
- Create a store that sells inexpensive clothing and furniture
- Provide
a job creation and training program for the people of Philadelphia
- Offer
a community services center (parenting classes, etc.)
- Generate
funds for both Mennonite Central Committee and Circle of Hope
- Become
an art and music venue
How you can help
- Join us as we rehab the store.
- Pray that our doors open in 2003.
- Provide financial support to hire a Thrift Store Manager.
