Benefit for Dorothy Day Robinson: love, generosity, and creativity

Back in June, Dorothy Day Robinson was diagnosed with a very serious birth defect called a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. The prognosis was bleak to say the least. Many kids born with this condition don’t make it. DJ & Jill put the word out that she’s preparing to come home and they were ready to receive the help that throngs of people have been offering, so they decided to partner with our Events Team to throw a benefit show. People from all over donated. About 200 hundred gathered last Saturday raising over $4,700 for the family. Those in attendance enjoyed a legendary raffle from local businesses like Franny Lou’s Porch, Pizza Brain, Circle Thrift, Burnt Toast Vinyl, Kenneth J Klein, Jr plumbing, Crime & Punishment, United By Blue, Green St Roasters, and over a dozen more from artists to computer services. Eclectic music from some of DJ’s favorite friends Oldermost, Soporous, and Dolores helped energize an amazing evening. DJ & Jill feel grateful and need your continuing prayers.
