On Saturday, March 12th, Dr. Jim Getz led a group over two dozen people to energetically explore a rich history. As a part of our Gifts for Growing, events centered around getting from here to there in the faith, we offered this as an “Earth” event for people who wanted to know what the Old Testament is all about. The session lasted for six hours, including Jim’s insightful and humorous teaching, centering time, personal storytelling, and a delicious spread – all for $5! We included new people and got excited for possibilities like a second OT session, or maybe a similar overview of the New Testament!
