Check out our latest Someone Asked video! The Circle of Hope pastors spend a lot of time in conversation. We’ve collected some topics that people actually ask us. We choose one in which we’ll spend about five minutes monthly. Let’s see what happens!
“What do I do with a problem person in my cell?”
Our cells are safe enough to include a wide variety of people and with that variety some discomfort, conflict, and problems. What do we do when that happens? For one, we acknowledge that none of us are put together and all need extra grace. For another, we curb our judgment and really try to assess where God is in the trouble. But practically, truth in love, both in and out of the meeting, is the best solution. It is true that there are people who are unfit to be in a cell, but we want to be safe enough to include people straight to the margins.
