Someone Asked: “Who is a modern day prophet?”
We’re in the middle of Advent, a time of preparation for Jesus’ birth. Leading up to Christmas, we look at a different group of people each week who either foresaw or were there for this momentous occasion. We look at the prophets this first week of Advent. Mainly, we are talking about prophets from the Old Testament who had visions of a coming Savior. In the tradition of reflecting on prophets during Advent, the Circle of Hope pastors discuss modern day prophets who, with their own unique expressions, speak into or critique or raise up parts of contemporary life, from art to politics and everything in between.
