Our goal at Circle Kids is to create a warm, caring environment where children from 2 1/2 to 5 years can grow to become well-rounded learners who will also cultivate a love for learning that will continue well beyond their stay at the Playschool. Frequently Asked Questions
Our daily curriculum is devoted to meet both the needs and interests of the individual child and the group. Our objective is to provide a learning environment that encourages growth of the whole child.
My child is 5-years-old. Can I enroll them at Circle Kids to supplement homeschooling?
We are able to enroll 5-year-olds up until they are eligible for Kindergarten. If your 5-year-old is of age to attend Kindergarten (turned 5 on or before September 1st), we are not able to enroll them at Circle Kids.
You say that you are “an expression of Circle of Hope.” Does this mean you are a religious preschool?
Circle Kids is not a religious school, and does not use a religious curriculum. We do have a vital relationship to Circle of Hope, as Circle Kids was created out of Circle of Hope’s desire to provide a high-quality affordable preschool option for families in the Philadelphia region, and a volunteer support team from Circle of Hope assists the director of Circle Kids in some administrative and organizational tasks.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
Your child does not have to be potty trained to attend Circle Kids. At the time of enrollment and as an ongoing conversation, toilet training can be discussed in order to help staff assist your child in whatever stage they are in.
Non-Discrimination Policy: In providing services to children and their families, Circle Kids does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, disability, cultural heritage, political beliefs, marital status, national origin or sexual orientation.
